First and foremost, I am a father to three and a husband to an active duty boss-woman! For me, the best perk of being an independent wealth advisor is the freedom to prioritize my family and be active in my kids’ activities. I have been coaching my son's baseball teams for more than 4 years and love being able to attend all the baseball and softball games, swim meets, gymnastics events, youth CrossFit sessions, etc!
In a life before kids’ activities took all of our time, I completed two Ironman triathlons and a host of shorter triathlons. Physical, mental, emotional, and financial well-being all need to be strengthened together. Even now with three kids and a successful business I prioritize daily workouts and staying active. My family loves to spend time together cycling, skiing, swimming, etc.

I’ve been an investment and wealth advisor since 2011, but have 20 years of experience in finance. After graduating from the University of Michigan with a BBA in 2003 I served for 9 years in military and government financial management and along the way earned an MBA in finance from Auburn University in 2010. My wife, Jodie, is currently a Space Force officer and is closing in on military retirement, so we understand the military life. I am well versed in government and military pay, benefits, financial options, and the stressors and concerns of a life in the government. Therefore, many of our current clients are government and military employees.

There is empowerment and freedom in thorough financial plans and wealth strategies. They provide peace of mind, allow you to live your best and healthiest lives and accomplish what's most important - whether that's now or in the future. Financial planning is not just about retirement, but living your best life.

My favorite part of being an advisor is building relationships with clients. To be a trusted guide in so many peoples' journeys has been an amazing professional and personal experience.
